Ecommerce, also known as electronic commerce or internet commerce, describes the buying and selling of goods or services using the internet, and also the transport of money and data to execute these transactions. Ecommerce is frequently used to refer to this purchase of physical products online, but it can also describe any kind of commercial transaction that’s facilitated on the internet.
Whereas e-business describes all aspects of operating an online business, ecommerce refers specifically to this transaction of goods and services.
