StorGuard® provides 6 advanced data services for underlying disk arrays . It is 100% software that runs on industry-standard servers, or as VMs on premises or in clouds. It is ideal for environments that have heterogeneous disk arrays. The HA configured StorGuard servers are accessed over FC or iSCSI. Because it runs on its own compute servers, StorGuard does not impact the performance of underlying disk arrays. High availability can span a datacenter, metro-region, or hybrid cloud. And StorGuard includes secure multitenancy, RBAC, and tenant bill-back.
